Here’s a new one that I just got from Ebay – loose – “Whirl.” This one was never in the cartoon and he’s originally part of the “Dorvack” cartoon and was originally released by Takatoku Toys. The other robots in this series were “Mugen Calibur” (re-released as “Roadbuster” for the Transformers) and Tulcas (which was not released as a Transformer).
I’ve never had a great love for Whirl, but since I already had Mugen Calibur/Roadbuster – I thought it would be cool to have the set. Plus, he’s rare and when I saw him for 30 dollars, I thought it was a fair price.

Surprised you picked this one up. This one seems to transform into a robot as an afterthought. It’s a nice looking helicopter, but a terrible robot. It’s a pretty tall piece and heavy. Guess they put some metal in this guy. Guess if you picked up this one, you might start working your way to complete the whole G1 collection! CCC
I only picked him up because I remember him as part of the Mugen Calibur line. He’s really expensive as “Dorvack” but wasn’t too bad as the “Whirl” the Transformer. I got him for something like 35 bucks, so no biggie.
